Sorting and inventory

The first step in a project like this is always to inventory, sort and store the various parts so that they can be found when needed.

Large parts set aside.
Small parts grouped by sub-assembly.
Long parts laid out on a spare table.
Odd bits on shelves.
Steel bits will need to be painted or coated in some way before assembly.
